The Student Council is responsible for all student activities throughout the course of the year. Elections are held each fall to choose new council members. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 and attended IAS for at least one quarter previous to their election. All members nominated must be willing to serve and must display good character. Students nominated for positions cannot be on Academic Probation.
The following positions are elected each year: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. In addition, there is one representative from each class, grades 6-12.
